What changes when the stone goes here

Sealed for a wet working surface; 20 mm and 30 mm for unsupported spans.

An application is not a decision about colour. It is a decision about thickness, about finish, and about how the piece is fixed - and those three are what the drawings have to carry.

The finishes for this use

Every finish this stone takes, with its verdict. A finish marked "ask" depends on the block, and a finish marked "no" is not for this material.

Polished

A standard order on this stone

A mirror surface. The golden ground reads deeper and the veining gains contrast; reflections of a lit room are the strongest on this stone.

Honed

A standard order on this stone

Soft sheen. The colour reads truer than polished and the texture stays quiet, which is why it suits large floors where gloss would be busy.

Leathered

Possible — ask first

A muted sheen with a tactile grain. It reads as a matte stone with depth rather than a flat one.

Sawed (diamond saw)

A standard order on this stone

A low, directional texture. Unpolished, uncoated, and completely honest about being raw stone.

Natural split (rock face)

A standard order on this stone

A rugged, cleft surface with the stone's own bedding visible.

Brushed

Possible — ask first

A fine directional scratch pattern with a satin sheen.

Acid washed

Possible — ask first

A rugged, pitted surface with real relief. The veins resist the acid and stand proud.

Antiqued

Possible — ask first

A softened, aged surface where the raised areas are worn back and the veins read darker.

Tell us what the job needs

Tell us the application, the size and the finish you need, and we will come back with what we can actually supply.

There is no checkout here and there is no price list. A stone enquiry is an agreement about material, size, finish and destination, and the answer depends on those four things. Send them and the reply carries what can actually be shipped.
