Answer

Can Giallo Siena marble be used for furniture?

Where the stone goes, and what changes when it does

Yes. Tables, vanity tops, counters and other furniture pieces in Giallo Siena marble are cut and edge-finished in the normal flow. For furniture the thickness, the edge and the support are decided together, because a 20 mm top on a long span is a support question.

Why this stone behaves this way

Giallo Siena marble is cut, filled, polished and profiled in one workshop, so furniture is a product form and not a special order. What a furniture piece needs is the same as any slab: a thickness that the support can carry and an edge that suits how it will be used.

What these figures are, and what they are not We supply the stone and the machining. The support, the frame and the fixing are set out on the drawing and are the installer's part of the job.
